• Your masterpieces are usually glazed within 10 days of your class. When they're ready, swing by to pick them up! Just give us a heads-up with a call ahead of time.

  • Life happens! We have a 48-hour cancellation policy—if you need to bail, refunds are possible with a heads-up two days before the class begins. Unfortunately, no refunds after that. Missed a class? We offer make-ups (up to two per session), but they're subject to availability. Shoot an email to info@claycoopstpete.com to reschedule. If The Co-op cancels a class or workshop up to the date of the first class for any reason, we will issue a full refund or credit.

  • Smile for the camera! We might snap some shots during class for our advertising. The Clay Co-op reserves the right to take photographs and video footage during classes that may include students and to use the photographs and videos for the purpose of advertising our classes in all media in perpetuity.

  • Come flex your creative muscles during our Open Studio hours! Remember, pick up your pieces within 30 days, or they become part of our studio. Don’t forget to stamp your work with your unique maker’s mark and ensure they're bone dry when dropped off.

    Monday to Friday: 1:00–5:00 pm

    Saturday & Sunday: 1:00–4:00 pm

Your pieces must be picked up within 30 days or they will become The Clay Co-op property.

All work must be clearly stamped with your maker's mark. Unmarked work will not be accepted.

All work must be 100% dry when placed on the shelves. We will not accept wet greenware.

The base of your work must be free from glaze (underglaze is OK), otherwise it will not be fired. Please note, if your piece does stick to the kiln shelf due to glaze running, you will be responsible for the repair/replacement of the kiln shelf.

Work with overly thick application of glaze or layered glazes may be rejected.

We will not fire solid or extremely thick pieces of work as they can explode in the kiln. Hollow work must have a hole.

If a kiln shelf is damaged due to your work, you will be charged a $20 cleaning fee.

If a kiln shelf is ruined to the point where it cannot be used again, you will be charged for the cost of replacing that shelf.

If your work damages the interior of the kiln, you are required to pay a fine based on the severity of the damage determined by the manager.

You are responsible for any damage your work causes to our kilns and/or kiln shelves.
