Handbuilt Holiday Gnomes

Add a touch of whimsy to your holiday décor with this cheerful clay class! In this 2-hour class, you’ll learn simple handbuilding techniques to sculpt your very own holiday gnomes from clay — complete with a tall hat, holiday cheer, and plenty of personality.

Your instructor will guide you step-by-step through shaping, assembling, and adding fun textures and details. Whether your gnome is cozy and traditional or quirky and full of flair, it’s sure to bring holiday joy to your home!

All materials and tools are provided. After class, your gnome will be kiln-fired and ready for pickup — perfect for decorating your mantel or gifting to someone special.

No experience necessary — all skill levels welcome.

Don’t Be Tardy For The Party! Want to rock your class? Better come with a smile and arrive 10 minutes early!

  • What's included:   Expert tuition, aprons, all materials and tools, glazes and kiln firing,  – whatever you need will be provided. If a little clay gets on your clothes, don’t worry, it comes right out with water. And if a little clay gets on your skin, think of it as a natural exfoliant. So dress comfortably and have fun. 

    Once you're done,  we'll professionally finish and apply our studio glaze to your creations, your piece will be fired in a kiln and ready for pick up by the holidays.

  • COLLECTING YOUR WORK
    Once your pieces have been glazed (usually within 10 days of your class), you can come pick them up! Please call ahead of time so we can make sure your work is ready.

    Your pieces must be picked up within 30 days or they will become The Clay Co-op property.

    LIABILITY

    The Clay Co-op and its employees are not liable or responsible for any accidental injury to students or any loss or damage to personal possessions.

    PHOTOGRAPHY / VIDEO

    The Clay Co-op reserves the right to take photographs and video footage during classes that may include students and to use the photographs and videos for the purpose of advertising our classes in all media in perpetuity and without payment to students.

    INFORMING OTHER PARTICIPANTS OF TERMS & CONDITIONS

    It is the responsibility of the person booking the class to inform other students participating of the Terms & Conditions.

    FINISHED WORK

    All care is taken to ensure students' pieces are made well, however, due to the inherent nature of this medium, Clay Co-op cannot be held responsible for any undesirable outcomes, including crackage, breakage, misfires, or something not turning out how you hoped.

  • Refunds will only be given if the request is made 24 hours prior to the beginning of the class or workshop. There is a $25.00 non-refundable fee for cancellations made within 24 hours of the class.

    No refunds will be issued after that time if a student withdraws. If The Co-op cancels a class or workshop up to the date of the first class for any reason, we will issue a full refund or credit.
