Private Clay Party!

Looking for a creative private event that’s a little messy, very fun, and totally memorable? The Clay Co-op hosts private clay experiences designed just for you! Whether you want to get your hands on the wheel or explore handbuilding, we’ll work with you to craft a personalized clay event that fits your vision. Birthdays, team-building, celebrations, workshops, or something delightfully unconventional. 

Our instructors collaborate closely with you to shape the experience, from skill level to vibe, so everyone feels inspired and supported. No pressure, not perfection - just clay, creativity, and connection!

Come prepared!: Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks.

Clothing Guidelines: Wear something comfortable and casual. We will be getting a little messy, so bring a change of clothes if you have plans following the event! The clay will wash out, but the memories will last forever.

Skill Level: No experience needed! This class is open to all skill levels.

Private events are $85 per person for 1-10 people. Parties of 11 or more are eligible for a group rate at $65 per person. All private events will be charged a 20% gratuity, 100% of which goes to your instructor(s).

  • What's included:   Expert tuition, aprons, all materials and tools, glazes and kiln firing,  – whatever you need will be provided. If a little clay gets on your clothes, don’t worry, it comes right out with water. And if a little clay gets on your skin, think of it as a natural exfoliant. So dress comfortably and have fun. 

    Once you're done,  we'll professionally finish and apply our studio glaze to your creations, your piece will be fired in a kiln and ready for pick up 10 days later. Your creation is food safe & dishwasher friendly.

  • COLLECTING YOUR WORK
    Once your pieces have been glazed (usually within 10 days of your class), you can come pick them up! Please call ahead of time so we can make sure your work is ready.

    Your pieces must be picked up within 30 days or they will become The Clay Co-op property.

    LIABILITY

    The Clay Co-op and its employees are not liable or responsible for any accidental injury to students or any loss or damage to personal possessions.

    PHOTOGRAPHY / VIDEO

    The Clay Co-op reserves the right to take photographs and video footage during classes that may include students and to use the photographs and videos for the purpose of advertising our classes in all media in perpetuity and without payment to students.

    INFORMING OTHER PARTICIPANTS OF TERMS & CONDITIONS

    It is the responsibility of the person booking the class to inform other students participating of the Terms & Conditions.

    FINISHED WORK

    All care is taken to ensure students' pieces are made well, however, due to the inherent nature of this medium, Clay Co-op cannot be held responsible for any undesirable outcomes, including crackage, breakage, misfires, or something not turning out how you hoped.

  • Refunds will only be given if the request is made 24 hours prior to the beginning of the class or workshop. There is a $25.00 non-refundable fee for cancellations made within 24 hours of the class. Class cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours of the class will require a payment of $20.

    No refunds will be issued after that time if a student withdraws. If The Co-op cancels a class or workshop up to the date of the first class for any reason, we will issue a full refund or credit.

    Class attendance is not mandatory. The Clay Co-op will not issue refunds if a registered student misses class(es). Make-ups are permitted, but not guaranteed. All make-ups must be scheduled ahead of time with the office and can only be scheduled if there is room in a similar class. Make-ups must happen prior to a new session beginning. Students are allowed no more than two make-up classes per session.
