Throw Big
4 Weeks
Sundays 10am-1pm
Get ready to throw big in this 4-week workshop designed for intermediate and advanced potters who are ready to go beyond the basics. This workshop focuses on the skills, strategies, and confidence needed to successfully create large-scale ceramic forms on the wheel.
Your instructor, Adrian, will guide you through multiple approaches to scaling up your work, including single-mass throwing, throwing and attaching sections, and building with coils. Each week introduces new techniques with demonstrations, followed by hands-on practice and individualized feedback. The final week will cover glazing strategies specifically for large work.
