Pottery for Teens
Youth Wheel Class
Dive into the fun of pottery in this hands-on 1.5-hour wheel-throwing class designed for creative kids and families! Perfect for ages 12–16, with wiggle room for younger or older artists, this friendly session welcomes parents and guardians to join in and learn right alongside their children.
Students will get guided instruction on how to use the pottery wheel, from centering clay to shaping their very own bowl, cup, or unique creation. After throwing, everyone gets to paint and personalize their piece with colorful underglazes.
No experience needed—just a willingness to get a little messy and have a lot of fun! Each participant leaves their finished piece to be fired and picked up later, creating a lasting keepsake from a memorable class.
